Martin Engineering Ltd (MEL)

The MARTIN ENGINEERING Corporation was founded 1944 in Neponset, Illinois, USA. Since then they have been manufacturing pneumatic Vibrators for the evacuation of material from large silos, bins and bunkers. In the 1970´s Martin Engineering developed and patented Air Cannons that support the flow of material and prevent material build-ups. In the 1980´s Martin Engineering concentrated more on conveyor systems and developed the first customized belt cleaners that are being continually advanced since then. Parallel to that Martin Engineering developed further products within the field of Conveyor technology. Therefore Belt Alignment Systems, solutions for Transfer Points and Dust Suppression Systems can be offered. Further Air-Supported Conveyer Systems and a wide range of Service Features, such as the MartinPlus Specialized Maintenance Services also belong to the wide range of Martin® products. Today, Martin Engineering is recognized as the worldwide authority in making the handling of bulk materials cleaner, safer and more productive. The Head Office in Europe was founded 1987 as Martin Engineering GmbH in Walluf, close to Wiesbaden, Germany. In the UK the branch office in Nottingham supports the UK and Ireland.
