The BULKEX 2015 guidebook app has gone live.
The new app is a companion for visitors, speakers and exhibitors who will be attending the first ever exhibition of its kind for the bulk and materials handling industry – BULKEX 2015.
It can be downloaded now on a smartphone by searching BULKEX 2015 in the app store.
The guidebook app can be used in advance or at the event itself to navigate exhibition stands and make sure attendees don’t miss any activities or seminar sessions.
There is also a range of information on the app, helping visitors to book accommodation and find their way to the venue.
The app has been created to be a ‘companion’ for visitors to the conference to plan their time at BULKEX in advance and to get the most out of seminar sessions. The app includes a full programme, twitter feed – tracking the hashtag #BULKEX15 – and a networking forum for guests to communicate with each other.
This autumn’s BULKEX 2015 – being organised by the Materials Handling Engineers Association (MHEA) – will be held at the Harrogate International Conference Centre on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October.
It will bring together more than 50 exhibitors showcasing products and services to visitors from across the bulk and materials handling industry and will include a series of seminars and presentations.
Mike Redmond, President of the Materials Handling Engineers Association (MHEA) said: “There is a real buzz about BULKEX 2015 as it will bring together under one roof representatives from across the materials handling industry.
“It will be a fantastic opportunity to see more than 50 companies exhibiting their latest products and developments. We have lined up a series of presentations from high profile speakers from across the industry. They will share their thoughts on subjects such as ports and mine development to Atex and power supply. This will be a great opportunity to gain insights and make contacts.
“The new guidebook app is designed to be the perfect conference companion. It takes one simple step to download the app from the app store. Visitors will then have all the information they need at their fingertips – both before, during and after the event.”
Tickets to BULKEX 2015 are free and can be booked online at www.mhea.co.uk or through the new app.
The event is being sponsored by Siemens Automation and Drives Group, ATEX Explosion Hazards Ltd and Flexco.
Mike Redmond added: “BULKEX 2015 is attracting delegates and exhibitors from all areas of bulk and materials handling, from users to manufacturers to distributors. It promises to be an unmissable event.”
